Visiting Portugal

Visiting Portugal
The view of the ocean and the Portugal coast in Foz de Arelho.

In the first week of May, we have travel to Portugal, Lisbon. We were lucky to get cheap plane tickets (130e both ways from Venice to Lisbon). We were excited to get some Focaccia (vegan) while on the Marco Polo airport, as we have discovered that they have it last time we were there.

This time we weren't lucky as they don't seem to have Focaccia in the morning, only in the afternoons. We got it on the way back.

The rest of the journey wasn't that exciting and we have arrived to the apartment without any problems. The appartmant we were staying "Living Lisboa Baixa" used  self-checkin with an autmated machine, which was interesting. The AC sadly didn't work, but we were lucky that the nights were cold so we could cool down the apartment in the evening.

Some metri pictures, trying to catch the crowd as there was quite a lot of people, some parts of some lines are closed due to some work being done, so the rest are now have more people.

I was playing with longer exposures to try to catch movement of the people. The displays that show metro information was also causing me issues, as it is refreshing in the middle of some pictures and causing some issues.

Next day we were visiting Sintra, around 1h train ride from Lisbon. It's a place full of beautiful parks and houses (palaces?) that rich people built in the centuries past.

Last days we spent in Caldas da Rainha and Foz do Arelho (the beach).

Photos were taken with Fujifilm XT-5 with Viltrox 23mm F1.4. Some were taken with an adapter for Y/C (Yashica/Contax Bayonet) and lenses.
